Dr. Alison H. Davis is an Associate Professor of Clinical Nursing and Director of the Nurse Educator Program at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing. She received her undergraduate degree from The Medical College of Georgia, Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University, and Doctor of Philosophy from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University. Dr. Davis’s research includes simulation, nursing education, and interprofessional education. She is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator and Certified Nurse Educator.

The Lightning Talk will discuss the results of a study comparing the outcomes from using reflexive thematic analysis generated by a human research team as compared to generative Artificial intelligence (AI). Written reflections from an IPE assignment were evaluated. The IPE reflection assignment is integrated in a two-year interprofessional education (IPE) curriculum that is required for over 600 students.
